·       Article 1. This law is for public order and has a purpose; set the bases to research, release declaratories, restore, protect, preserve, record, promote and spread the Cultural Heritage of the state of Quintana Roo.

·       Art. 2. It states for public utility; the investigation, promotion and dissemination of the Cultural Heritage of the state of Quintana Roo.

·       Art. 3. Fort he effects of this law, we understand by:

I.                Town halls: The Towns Halls of the state of Quintana Roo.

II.              Committee: The Ruling Committee of the Cultural Heritage of the state of Quintana Roo.

III.            Convention: the celebrated agreement between the Cultural Secretaryship and the proprietor or owner of a tangible asset; susceptible by being declared Cultural Heritage of the state.

IV.            Federal Law: The Federal Law about Monuments and Archaeological Zones; Artistical and Historical.

V.              Auxiliar Organisms: The civil organizations which essential purpose are the protection of the Cultural Heritage of the state.
